Francie's tote

Francie wanted a tote she could carry everywhere (bookstore, beach, Trader Joe's run), one that felt like a small museum of her favorite things. We started with a list of what mattered to her. Her name, the TJ's logo, poppies, a dragonfly. I worked them into a layered composition. Postage-stamp lettering up top, the redrawn TJ's mark in the center medallion, poppies winding through the seams. A single ink dragonfly is tucked near the bottom corner so you only catch it when the bag is on her hip.
